Repeat Prescriptions

multicolour_pillsPatients can request a repeat prescription in the following ways:

Please use the right hand side of your previous prescription f

orm, and tick clearly which medications you need.

Remember to order carefully; millions of pounds are wasted every year because of medication being requested unnecessarily

Telephone Requests

We only accept telephone requests from patients who fall into to one of the following three categories:

  • Elderly (Aged 70+)
  • Housebound
  • Carer (on behalf of the person they care for)

If you feel that you should be entitled to be exempt from this policy, please download this document, and hand in to the reception for the attention of the Doctors or Mike.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
